Sitibunda Cornix
reperit urnam
aqua plenam,
sed erat urna
quam ut exhauri a Cornice possit.
Conatur igitur
vano molimine
aquam effundere,
sed non valet.
Lectos igitur ex arena lapillulos
Hoc modo
aqua levatur
et Cornix bibit.
