Lupus, Ovis pelle indutus,
Ovium se immiscuit gregi,
quotidieque aliquam ex eis occidebat.
Quod cum Pastor animadvertisset,
illum in altissima arbore suspendit.
Interrogantibus autem ceteris Pastoribus
cur Ovem suspendisset,
respondebat,
“Pellis quidem est Ovis,
opera autem erant Lupi.”
